Hi All

I'm getting some 36"x15"x18" tanks soon :D And got a few questions.

1. What size and make of heaters would you recommend?
2. What size and make of filters would you recommend?
3. Has anyone used wave makers to create more current? If so any reccommend ones?

Not getting the tanks for a couple of weeks but trying to get things sorted :)

Regards

Ricky

Jäger heaters, I'd say 75-100 watts. Filterwise I personally like the eheim ecco pro series. And Hydor koralia for the current

I agree with everything apart from the heater...I would go with a 200 watt...Its not going to cost any more to run as it will switch off quicker, but it will handle the tank with ease...Jager heaters are good but in my opinion Sera are better and the come with a heater guard as part of package plus 5 years warranty.

hi, agree with the sera, great heaters and heater guard. Instead of a wavemaker, maybe think of adding a diffuser, gets lots of air in the tank and also due to this has more movement in the water.cheers jk
