Just found this site after visiting Rare Aquatics on Tuesday for the first time

Was very impressed with the shop and the owner who makes me want to open my own place. I;m very jealous!!

I bought a lovely Glaxias plec whom I;m very impressed with

Anyhow I only have three tanks now a 20g reef a 20g brackish and a 150g discus tank . I;ve always kept plecs in past although now I only have 6 young Royal Sturisoma and the Galaxis

In the past 20 yrs I have kept L25, L46,L264,L128,L200,L175, Royals,Blue Eyed plec (£12 for 7 inch specimen 15 yrs ago) L18,Rusty plec L114

My favourite and my holy grail was the L25, wish I could locate another for a non mortgage price!!

I;m based in Wirral and look forward to learning more about one of my favourite types of fish

Yes Scatz I was on Plecofanatics. I went through a big plec phase a few years back when I had the tanks to house them. I;m limited now in what I can keep but still retain the interest.

Its a shame that they are hard to obtain now, especially the ones I want:hi:

there are lots of members from PF on here. I'm sure you will find some familiar names, but others have changed names to confuse everyone lol

I think the majority of people here came from PF, but now this site has grown considerabally, it now has its own ranking and structure. Hopefully PF will be the words of the past and everyone will be talking about this site for years too come.
