Hello everyone!

I am glad to join your community from Trinity, NC! While I was attending NC State University, back in the early 90's, I worked at a local fish store named Fish Pros in Raleigh, NC. We were by far the finest LFS in the area and it was truly a blast working there. I greatly miss the numerous tanks my roommates and myself had in our college apartment.

Unfortunately, I only have one 30 gallon tank going at the moment. It has been running strong for the past 15 and a half years with its inhabitants being of the semi-aggressive freshwater community type.

Sadly, as my family and I had left for a week at the beach, the family friend who was taking care of our pets while we were gone, grossly overfed my tank. We came home to flake food standing at the bottom of the aquarium and the water cloudy. Then I saw my 12 year old albino bristlenose pleco floating. We were heartbroken. He was my oldest fish.

As one old friend was put to rest, I was given an opportunity that I hadn't had in over a decade, which was to go pleco shopping! So now I have bought what was listed as a Para Pleco, L075. However, he doesn't resemble the coloration pattern of any of the pictures that I have seen for that type of pleco. Maybe it is because he is a juvenile, or not fully used to the tank. Either way, I certainly look forward to seeing how he turns out as he grows up a little bit.

Well, if you've read this far, then thanks for reading my diarrhea of the fingertips . It's great to be here and I can't wait to enjoy sharing my passion with all of you!
