New member here, used to frequent plecofanatics.com back when it was up and running...been a long time. About 9 months ago I moved to Iowa, at the time I had 2 L182, 1 L114, 2 L128, and the ones I enjoyed the most 2 L255. Shortly after the move and not sure if it was due to the differences in waters (which weren't that different as far as water parameters go) my filters crashed, ammonia levels spiked and lost everything...almost overnight, not sure if the different water was to blame or what.. even my lfs owner was a little speechless and besides the higher ammonia levels I never looked into it further, just packed everything up and called it quits, and I haven't had a tank running since that happened, just recently started one of my 55gallon tanks up as I missed keeping these beauties, and looking for a forum to sort of help "refresh" my memory a little bit. So in advance, forgive me for any stupid questions.
