My name is Chris & I've been involved with fish for the last 45 years. It started when I was 4 & dad brought me some guppies. Well they went fine & breed like guppies do so we got some more tank & filled them up. Then we got old bath tubs & put them in the back yard. Then freinds & neighbours started to by some & word spread & more people came so then in 1968 dad registerd the buisness & Summerland Aquarium began. The buisness really took off so in 1975 we moved from the suburb of Goonellabah out on to a 10 acre property at Wollongbar were we are still today. As far as plecos go I have been breeding them for the last 15 years. Bristlenose are the biggest seller in our shop & we sell hundreds a month. Peppermints,longfins are not as popular these days because money is so tight. I've got some other L nuber colonies groing up & hope to have them available soon L002, L66, L134, L333, L397. Thats enough said for now,
