Hi all I am jeremie and my wife is jessica we are new to this forum we currently breed jack dempseys. We have 8 oscars 2 breeding pairs of Standard jacks, 2 gold male jacks paired up with standard jacks. 7 common plecos 3 electricblud jacks (just got those to complete our jack collection) a 150gal tank 2x75 gallon tanks 4x55 gallon 2x30gallon 3x10gallon 1x5gallon 2x1gallon. Now that you know us and our hobby interest so far we joined this forum because we are wanting to breed more exotic fish. plecos to start off with. and while browsing through pics we saw a pleco that was black with purple stripes. My wife went crazy wanting one. We have spent 2-3 weeks browsing and reading up on plecos and decided we will have to get more than just the purple ones. only problem is we cant find the L# for the purple one. the list of pleco L# we have found only had pics with some of the fish and the descriptions didnt seem to match what we saw. not one said anything about a purple pleco. I have read other posts where people have seen them and or owned them but still I cant find a L# nor a source to try and purchase them. If any one can help please let us know. Also any one into jacks we have plenty of stnadard fry for sale and the gold/standard mix for sale. soon we will have the gold bred back out in a pure stain again also so drop us a line. Hellooo jeremie and jessica, apart from my pleco's my favourite fish that I keep is a male Electric Blue Jack Dempsy, he's a beautifull fish.
