Hello guys Just figured i would say hi since i have been reading your forums for a while now. I have 3 Tanks 160 gal 2 55's All have at least 2 Plecos in each 5 bristle nosed and 2 commons , I had a Vampire pleco but he got a wound and didnt make it . Made me Vary sad. i have really come to Enjoy the plecos, they are Vary active fish in my tanks and usually the focus of the room . i was given a chance to get a few L46 plecos , i Am Vary intrigued by them , i have done alot of research on them and was wondering if it is worth if to try for a colony . i understand they take a lot of time.but to get a breeding pair or 2 , would it be worth the time or is the market not there for them . Either way i am really considering getting a few.
for breeding how many different Breeders should i look for and how many from each , and M/F ratio ? i have read alot about them but no one seems to agree bout the colony size?.
These are probly Vary noob questions, thank you for your time.

:welcome:. If you wish to keep L046, I would suggest a tank on their own for them. Ration 1M to 3F. have fun cheers jk

thank u , i had planed on making the tank a species only tank. i have a couple extra tanks around so tank size is not really a problem.
