I have been lurking for some time, and have gotten TONS of valuable information about a couple of tanks my son and I 'inherited' (I said, "Oh yes, we'd love to have the fish" - not a clue on what was actually IN the tanks). One deary is a Sailfin Pleco my son has affectionately named Max and we've all taken a shine to (older brother and Dad are more standoffish - but you catch them looking over your shoulder now and then :-> ). Since finding out what he was an how BIG he can get, I've become obsessed with making sure I'm taking care of him (all of them) properly and these 'little surprises' don't happen again!
This site is a wonderful place for information and everyone is so very helpful - Max would probably not have survived long without you all! I will be posting some questions in a different area - but I wanted to 'introduce myself' before doing so.
