Optimum tank temp for a crystal red shrimp is 21-26C.
Optimum tank temp for a zebra pleco is 26-30C.
Move the shrimp out to their own cooler tank and treat the zeb tank with Waterlifes Myxazin just to make sure the fins heal will no problems.

and if you like the shrimps in with zebs go cherry reds... they seem to like any temp and are almost bullet proof... provide plenty of shrimpets for zebs to pounce on too....

plecos heal very quickly by themselves as a general rule...
i had a 6-7cm 260 juvie stripped completely down one side from its head to its tail... dorsal fin was half chewed and missing and tail was shredded...
one week and it was totally healed with a 3/4 dorsal fin... that healed up in another 2 weeks....

if anything i'd add a little melafix/pimafix.... being natural based remedies

Thx for the advise. I lose the fish the other day due to poor water quality after leaving them on automatic feeder during holiday.

in regards to CRS, I breed quite some of them and got a lower grade one either sold to lfs or moved into my pleco tank to clean the uneaten food.

water qual is just so important. I also tend to go with good w/c and the melafix/pimafix combo if i have fish illness. good luck, hope he heals ok

Sorry to hear you lost the fish during holiday. I think sometimes its better to let them go hungry and take their chances than use the auto feeders. Plecos can go a number of weeks without eating as long as they arent little fry.
