I just got lucky and got an L25 from a friend and he is not eating. 4 inches. I did a water change and still not eating. Gave blood worms. Any recomendations? He is in a 180 Gallon. Thank you.

My old one used to eat frozen brine, prawn, mussel massivore tablets. Ive read in the past that food mixed with garlic is irresistible to plecs?? worth a try

If you have only just got him today then chances are he needs to settle down. As simonas says, if you are having trouble getting him to eat when he is settled then garlic soaked food can help.

What's making you say it's not eating? Not seeing it eat? Most place won't come out to feed like your used to seeing commOn community fish. This is especially true if youre not dealing with common or busynose place and even more so if they were newly introduced. My L114 (same family) took months before they were feeding in the open and even then they were very skittish.
