help me ID this pleco

okay i need an identification on this pleco
It is about 1 inch in size... the seller said it was a snowball pleco bt some of my friends think it is some sort of bristlenose
I have raised a few bristlnose and this one doesn't look any thing like a bristlenose...please help me with an ID and if possible a species profile

First, there are snowball bristlenose.

Second, not all have bristles. The young and females are examples of that.

While I'm not an expert on snowball bristlenose... it does appear that is what you have.


Edit: Update! Upon further looking, the only ones called Snowball that I could find were L102 and L142 (which neither are bristlenose) but in my opinion don't look like yours.

common bristlenose....

snowballs are L142s or lda33's..... very commonly used name to describe a whole array of black plecos with white spots... which is incorrect...

102 is a hypan inspector... i think its only referred to snowball pleco in some european countries but here in oz its an inspector... :thumbup:
