hey guys
2 days ago i found 2 bn dead and thought it was the water so i did 25% water change hovered the gavel and did water tests all seemed ok.
so today i wake up and i see 3 peppermints dead and one angel fish  and i checked everything this time i knew it was something more then rooten food or the water ph ammonia or even the water temp so i took EVERYTHING out of the tank [please not the tank had 10 angels and 1 bala shark also one bala shark died yesterday in a quaterine tank after he was acting a lil wriglley i put him in quartine tank] afte removing all the caves i found 1 bala shark dead and decomposed that when i pulled the cave out of the water the only thing that came out was its head everything else was decpomposed i did 80% water change and the remaing 20% i put a multi cure green fluro solution and its a standard 4 foot tank btw now im going to leave it for 3 hours before i turn the sump filter on which has active carbon which will remove the mutli cure from the water and refill the tank.

question is guys are the things ive done so far is good enough and is there anything else i can do to stop my bn's or any other bn from dying or anything dying in my tank as this only seems to be affecting the peppermints so far
thanks sizar

What water tests did you do?
I would expect high ammonia readings with decomposed fish in the tank.
How long was the tank set up?
Was it cycled?
Do you do regular water changes.
What was the Ph?
Ammonia is deadly at higher PH levels

ph aminia and nitrate well after i did the water change 25% the reading were all fine ph was 7 setup has been for about 6-7 months now water changes 25% every sunday and that wahat i found weird taht ph and ammonia were normal when i tested it yesterday unless i did the readings wrong but now that everythings is removes teh decoposed body and 80 water change with mutli cure do you things that enough to bring everything back to normal or perhaps i need to do something else?

btw tank was cycled for 3 weeks before anything was put in.

It would have been better to test prior to doing a water change.
Its probably not relevant to your current problem but how did you cycle it? Fish less?
Do you age your water/ use prime?
Is hard to say if your fish will be okay. The problems may result from poor water quality. Any new additions to the tank? Could be parasites/ bacterial infection.

Hi Sorry to hear of your losses...Can you please advise on the size of your aquarium, ie volume? This does sound more of a water issue, but I have come across losses of this scale due to Ich that was missed by the aquarist...Have you had a good look for Ick?

Sounds bacterial to me, Ya might need to nuke the tank with an antibiotic...Sounds like it could be shimmy...did you say one shark was swimming funny?

Sounds like a water problem to me.

What were your stocking levels before the trouble started?
