help sex L46

hi , need advise on sexing these L46. they are 5-6cm. any info would apprechiated

1 def female and 1 def male..... and another probable female....

thinking more top is male middle is female bottom is prob female...

head , body shape and rear fins make me think that

strange marking on middle one behind the head... black sash doesnt join up behind the head... makes it easy for identification later

i think top is female (shorter nose) but may all need a few more months of growing

yes bigjohnno, the 1 in the middle has a defect which I did not notice when I got them :wb: cause it was in the cave n couldn't get it out. it has a slight dent behind the head.

nothing to worry about as far as genetics go...

when you blow them up and look at them top one has bigger gap between eyes than other 2 and has classic V-shape body... to me its def male... and middle one shows classic female body shape... none of the fish show any real amount of hair on pectorial fins... so they arent mature fish yet....
