Hi there, found this forum after waking up yesterday to a surprise tank of baby pleco's! We have a community tank with the oldest resident being a 4 year old albino pleco. Around a year ago we got a common plec addition as they are great tank cleaners. It now appears 'Henry' is 'Henrietta'! We have so far caught 21 fry who were hiding under a lily pad at the top, and put them in a little hatchery whilst waiting for a new tank to stabilise. There are more being cared for by 'Vax' under his log. Any help in rearing these lovely little creatures would be greatly appreciated!

well done. just keep the filtration good, may need an airstone depends on tank size etc.
be aware you will have more in a months time....
the little ones like to graze on cucumber and shelled peas, also a few flakes are good as growing fry need a little protein as well.
