does anyone on here breed L397's? or anyone in the US breed them? i went on a search today to see if any of my regular fish stores could get them and they all said they thought it was too recent of a find. so if someone on here breeds them, can you get me a base price. i love the bright orange with the black striped. also if i do get one or 4, are the keeping conditions any different that i need to know about? please let me know. thanks.

Hello Jordan,

In Australia these are available and are bred. I have 4 of them, Juveniels sell in AUS for about 50 Australian dollars each. These are primary wood eaters, so plenty of wood etc for them. I have 4 in a 120liter tank. Make sure you have a good filtersystem or power head, for cleaning up. They are stunners and have character. Hope you find some in the USA.cheers jk

Ok I will check. Thanks. Also has or does anyone fed or heard if feeding plecos blackworms? A local dealer feeds his fish and plecos blackworms. So is it ok to do? Do they enjoy them?

Ok I really need to find a breeder that is willing to sell l397's or someone in Australia to buy me a few and send them to me. So far no one I know can get them which makes me want them more. So let's talk monies.
