I'm booboo from west scotland and i need your help. I'm a beginner with my tank...well a few years anyhoo. my new pleco has developed a red spot on his belly and white spot on his back. can anyone help....i'll attatch the pics.

Your photos unfortunately did not display for me.
Do you have a cover on your heater? He may have gotten a burn?

Hey all.....I'm really just trying to figure all this out. How can I upload pics that you can all see? And I'm pretty sure the heater has some sort of cover on it. My old pleco never had any of the same marks and his fav hidehole was the heater too. So confused.x

i'd have to say it looks like a heater burn to me too, heater guards aren't expensive and most fish shops will sell them, they are a plastic sleeve that slides over the glass tube of the heater
