Well, I am in Washington state. I do not have anything yet, but I have been doing lots of research about getting a Pleco(s). I feel the more I read the more I want to take on, but remind my self start simple first. This is going to be my first fish too so i am extra excited

I am starting with a close to 40g tank. I want to do full eco system using filters under dirt and using real plants. As far as fish go, I dont want any thing to big, just two up to 6in range. I found a few that get up to that size but boy, the can be expensive!:wb: I have always been a "sucker" for the sucker fish haha. no other fish really peak my interest right now.

I have seen some really cool tanks on here, some with a sand like gravel with slate hiding areas. I really like the look of that, reminds me of when i had more of the desert style lizards. And then you have the full on Amazon river plants which look really cool. But I am afraid of them eating em all, or hiding to where I cant see them!

The ones I like so far are the Snow Ball? i like the spots. And the all yellow not sure which one that is, and some of the striped ones.

So any who,:welcome: to me

Hey Washington state. Welcome aboard.
You're on the right track doing your research before you buy. Is a smart move especially,as you've discovered, considering the prices some of these fish fetch.
Good luck with it all.
