Hi :hi:
i've had fish for decades (blimey? is it that long???) and bred cichlids, angels and of course live bearers (who hasn't).
my lovely wife is very tolerant and has allowed we to put a tank in almost every room in the house, and i have managed to cultivate an interest in fish in my children too, so i can indulge by proxy in even more tanks in their bedrooms
i've just taken delivery of my first large tank about a month ago and got it settled and matured, fine sand substrate, some bog wood , a few angels and gouramis at the moment, could do with a plec or two i think, its 4ftX1.5ftX2ft(high); ok not large by some standards:s, planning some discus, so intend to maintain at ~29 degrees, currently 27
water in our area is soft and gets softer when i pass it through an HMA filter so i need to add salts get it up to 8 degrees of hardness otherwise the live bearers dont do well at all.
am considering a couple of L260s, wadya think ?:dk:
cheers
Dave
