Hi All,
I have just registered on the Forum.
Been keeping fish for a few years.
First it was Malawi Cichlids, but I got tired of the constant fighting and aggression. So about 6 months ago I converted it to general tropicals. (Angels, Gouramis, Tetras etc).
And then I discovered Plecs.......
At the moment I have
2x galaxias L029
1x L114
1x Rusty. Not sure of the L no. I think it's Sp Peru.
I want more tank....for more fish.
My water out the tap isn't ideal for Plecs. A bit too hard with a high PH. But I have loads of wood. Also add a fair bit of my own home made peat "brew". And I have recently discovered a product by Seachem that reduces PH and hardness. I know a lot of people don't agree with using chemicals to adjust water chemistry. But I think this product is useful if used with care.
Anyway, I am looking forward to learning more and chatting to knowledgable people.
Thanks
Yoda
