I guess you found out now. Ill have a look through my stuff on computer and find out so other peeps know dosages etc.

1 tea spoon into a litre leave fish for 15 to 20mins upto 2 times a day

this is not the best yreatment for popeye but can help it reduces swelling

Thanks foti, popeye can be difficult to treat especially when not sure on the cause but then thats the same with most ailments unless obvious like whitespot and even that can be questionable due to similar parasites.

The salt will do its job at killing the bacteria behind the eye, but until the cause is found the bacteria will continue to re-infect the weakened tissue.

well when one of my redtail rasboras had popeye i did a 12.5 grams per 10 litre salt bath for 30 minutes with airation. it actually worked!! same with my bn with bloat
