We have been breeding double albino BN plecos for a couple of years now. We have grown out thousands of babies which we supply to local pet stores. All the babies are always albino. A few months ago we were able to get a hold of 4 mature super reds, and one pair has now bred two times and all of the babies are super red.
In our community tank we have a couple of mature albino females and introduced one of the super red males so we were excited to see what the offspring would be.
I kid you not the entire batch of babies are green dragons. Every single one of them. How is this color morph possible from a super red male and a double albino female?
