Last week when I finally moved all my hypancistrus fry to its own tank and thought mind as well test the parent's Ph with my new ph meter. The result really freaked me out....lol.

The ph is 4.3 but the parent is still constantly breeding but I loses one fry every couple weeks tho. I've eventually slowly increase the ph back to around 6.5 now.

I'm just wondering what is the lowest ph you achieve when breeding hypancistrus?

Cheers

Well I get worried if mine drop below 5, so never tried any lower. I think once it gets near to 4 you start to kill the bacteria in the filter and that creates all sorts of problems!
