Hi everyone,I am in the process of setting up a fish room and are unsure of what size air pump to get.I have six 4 ft tanks that will run 3 sponge filters on each one and will be adding a further six 4 ft tanks later on with the same setup. Also I will be adding canister filters as well.I am thinking maybe an LP60 Resun or Pondpro Airlab 60.Do you think this will be ok for my setup.

Thanks Mark.

it is better to have a pump that will pump more air than trying to calculate exactly what you want, this leaves you room for further expansion. I would also opt for 2 pumps instead of one, just in case one fails you still have the second one. I would go for the Resun. I have the eheim pump for my 4 3ft tanks. cheers jk
