I.D Please. Maybe Loricaria sp. `RIO ATABAPO`. Not sure???

Yes, I can see what you mean. Perhaps Loricaria simillima? They look to have a more curvy/rounded snout, and also seem to vary a lot in colour based on the PC pics.

Hi all,
Does look a bit snub nosed, but I think L. "Kolumbien" and L. "Rio Atabapo" are the same fish (from the Atabapo river in Columbia). It mentions this in the PC page: <http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=816>.

I think your fish are this species, due to the 2 stripes running back from the nose, over the eyes, when you look at the fish head on.

You can see them in PC picture 4.

I have a chance of getting what looks to be an adult WILD trio of these Loricaria sp. `RIO ATABAPO` .... but they are $40 a piece. Do you enjoy these fish ? How much did you pay for your fish ? Thanks !!!
