Remember my mishap when the movers smashed my 120 in october? well today my new tank arrived!! 100cmx100cmx80cm thats 800liters or 205 us gallons!! comes with a 50 gallon sump. pics to come once I get things plumbed!:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

For now it'll house my 3 Uaru, red severum, 2 BPs and a Jin Kang, as well as a Synodontis Eupturis and my L001. I'm thinking once I get things plumbed properly and move some of my Hybrids maybe a Rotkeil sev and perhaps a Royal panaque. I just went out and bought my pump today rated at 7000LPH plus for now I'm running a cycled internal rated at 3000LPH so combined should be about 11-12 times per hour turnover so a Panaque should be no prob.

800 litres? that tank looks too small for 800....Im trying to work out how big it is in inches...lol so would I be correct in saying its as deep as it is along the front??? like a metre square? and then 80cm high?

Wow, that's a very good footprint. Should be able to put a small stump in there for your Royal. I recently just got a Royal and a Papa (L90). You'll love it.

1 metre is approx 40" this tank will be roughly 39"x39"x31" thats 800 litres full but guessin its running at 80% fill it will be around 640 litres capacity.
Which is still an awesome tank.
Capacity wise in numbers it sounds like it will hold a panaque happily but i would say it would need to be longer to allow more freedom for a full grown woodmuncher :dk: assuming approx 18" TL
though as it would take a good number of years for a juvenile to get that length i'd say you'll be fine :yes:
