First up pic I thought L333 but with the major spotting happening with age and if its more chocolate in coloring I would say L270 now.

Someone on another forum thinks it's l129. what do you think about that?

L129 tend to grow a bit bigger than L270. They are up there with say L066 and almost have a fork to the tail like the L066 but not as deep.
If you say the fish has stayed quite small I would be tipping L270.
You could always just name it Hypancistrus scribble pleco with the measured size advised and let the buyer figure it out?

I tend to agree with it being L129.
According to catfishplanet L129 at 70mm close to 2.5".

Hi all,
Definitely could be L129.

L129 tend to grow a bit bigger than L270.

The ones I kept were <"little tubby fish">, and they grew at less than 1/2 the rate of L333, and ended up a lot smaller.
