I woke up this morning to find about 50-60 eggs stuck on the front galss of my Sturisoma panamense (Royal Whips). Not bad as I only got these a week ago. The only thing is that the male is not fanning the eggs. I have an internal powerhead directing the flow straight across them, so hopefully they will be ok. I have also noticed that my Bristlenoses and cory Sterbai tanks also have eggs in them.:woohoo::thumbup:

some species of whips use caves but i think most sturisoma will lay on a clean flat surface, normally the glass.

i wouldn't worry about the male not being there to fan them seeing as they are directly in the current.
mine were always laid in the same spot as yours are, on the front right in the flow of the internal filter.
They are amazing to watch as they develope, there is a huge change after around 5 days where you can start to see the babies inside the eggs
