sorry but better photos are needed indeed. Get one full shot from side, one from top and if you can one from bottom. Sorry I now you wish to know the sex etc, but just cant say with these 2 shots. sorry jk :thumbup:

i think its a male - same shape and size of my males....

they arent the easiest fish to sex thats for sure.... once they mature male will cave 80% of the time... females rarely cave sometimes going in backwards and looking outwards...

once they are decent size... looking from above male has a bigger head.... easier to see if you have both sexes.... not certain but it seems like the males dorsal fin is bigger too....

Thanks for input everyone. I've been too much away keeping catfish this is my first one i bought since disaster stuck to me in the past. I thought when i saw it for sure it's female but maybe i got mixed up sexing this after all ( and paid too blood much then)
