I was thinking the same. Initially I thought that there were only two species of Acanthicus but upon further review found two additional L# ones (besides adonis & histrix) bringing the total to four. Histrix & L193 don't have spots so they can be ruled out. That just leaves adonis & L407 (which I can't find pics for). I was thinking a very nice adonis myself.Very nice, I dont get it though? To me thats a Adonis? A very very nice one mind!!
Well it is confirm not the normal adonis as the same LFS also have them. They also told me say this is special, took 1 look and get it. At first i thought was a Marble adonisI was thinking the same. Not sure recently more and more rare fish come to SGI think its becoming clear that Singapore has a better fish choice then we do lol, I will bow out and claim ignorance!
Well I know about the albino type which is somehow very expensive.. said to be found in deep water. But dun like albino stuff as to me they are consider defect birth.Ive found it in a couple of places for sale referred to as 'Marble' also found an albino adonis
I notice my adonis do the dancing part then zoom in to my L330 and it did manage to push it and so L330 was angry and pushing it back....seem like one of those I push you and you push me back before the real fight starts. Two very nice fish!
Are they squabbling a lot?
Is the tank big enough for them both be in without the bickering..would be a shame for one to get injured.
lol, bet there both kind of happy about that. The winner is me..my giant hand to them pick L330 and put into other tank.
And so Adonis live happily after alone.
