Hello All,

Well I love watching fish grow and I had chance to take snaps of my L097( L282 do not exist according to the German L Welse page ) ? The big debate continues.
I bought these on 31.03.11 at 4cm

Now cleaned the tank and they are between 8cm and 14cm on 25JAN2012

and sharing with my L134s a couple of days before the new tank set up was done

So hope you enjoy the L097 cheers jk

Just going by PC's profiles I'd say L282, but I have never owned either.
I guess you'll find out as they mature as 282s get much bigger than L97.
Nonetheless, stunning fish! I'd really like one of those.

My gut instinct is L97. I have 4 Black spotted Pseuda's that came via Columbia at the very end of November 2011. They were labeled as L282 when I ordered them but I wasn't sure of there ID when they arrived as L097 is very similar and I have heard some speculation they are the same fish.

My ones are about 4" and white spots, the dorsal fin also appears to be bigger than your fishes. So assuming mine are L282 there are differences between our fishes.

However I NEVER see my fish in daylight hours and even watching them in the dark never see them :dk:. i know they are there I can see them in the caves. I initially bought them to sell but I'm not in a hurry to sell them just yet, I want to watch them grow on a bit yet see how they develop.

im gonna go with 97, 282 the spots are more like iregular shaped splodges especially on younger fish and less uniformed, also the general shape of 282 is more like 273 long and twiggy if you know what i mean? where as 97 is more rounded and"chubby" looking. as stated before 97 dont grow as large as 282 but these are pseuadas and grow so slowly you think theyre shrinking. I'll try to put some pics up ive had both and when you see them both together you can really see the difference, especially body shape

Nice one Ryan, I remember how excited you were about the 282 I got for you for a few years back, even more excited than then when you saw the big Scarlet for the first.

I'll set the scene.....I'd never met Ryan, but new he was a cage fighter, delivered fish to Lewisham intimedating place if your not from round there, knock on the door and meet Ryan 6'5" big geezer greets me. Take fish boxes up stairs open box and practically screamed with childish excitment. Love it.....sorry if this embarasses you dude.

True Psueda fanatic.

Apparently L282 do not exist, according to the German L-Welse, so I would then have to say these are L097s. cheers jk
