:hi:
Ive been recycling my tank, (new filter and fravel) and ive noticed inside the tubing from the tank to the filter, then ack up to the tank theres some kind of algae(?)
heres some pics. Its only the soft tubing that has it on, the hard plastic at the start of the intake and output has none on. Is this dangerous? please help

i would say normal build up jack mine look the same and have done for about the last year or so ,even the pipes on my L333 tank have this same build up and thats been on their for about a year and a half and theyve just produced a load of fry so cant be that bad.:dk:

yeah it's perfectly harmless in an estabilished aquarium. just a built up of gunk and other sh-- i mean fish waste :)

i have the same on my fluval 05 filters.

YUP AGREE with all. build up of waste etc. If you wish, you can disconnect the hose, tie a piece of fishing string to a piece of cloth and pull it through, to clean the tubes. cheers jk :thumbup:
