i wouldn't have said either really, but hypans seem to be getting harder to i.d properly and i'm by no means an expert.
To me it looks more like L270, but i'm probably wrong

this is why you haven't had much response to the thread, "scribble" plecs are a total nightmare to i.d properly, especially with hybrids on the market now too

A L066 should be black and white, no yellow at all.

You can also get black and white L333 but usually by the time they are maturing there will be a bit of a yellowish tinge to those. They grow slower than the traditional L333 which is more yellow.
The lines are too wobbly to be a L270 at that age. As juvies they tend to be straight for a start and break up later to scribbles.

its a L333 in my opinion.....

066's have more of a forked tail when compared to 333's... their tails tend to be more like a mulloway (aussie fish commonly caught along the coast)

and it appears to be too fat for L270... which are more streamline....

i call it a poor quality 333... i like my 333's to have more evenly coloured patterning... meaning as much white as there is black... but thats only my opinion... :hi:

if your happy with the fish thats all that matters....

well not L270 as striping thickness wrong and tail too long. (I know them well)
its young yet, post a pic in 6 months and get another range of opinions.
nice fish anyway
i personally think L66, but I am not an expert on these guys
