Hi guys new to the forum and wanted to say hi.
I'm just in the process of setting a up 100l pleco tank after keeping a few bristlenoses for a while now.
I'm just wondering a semi easy pleco to breed to start me off with? I've done bristlenoses and just wanna try something new.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Cheers james

G'day James. Welcome aboard mate.
For alot of people the next step after Bristlenoses is something like Peppermints or Orange Spots which both provide a little more of a challenge. If you wanted to try your hand at other L numbers then L202's are probably the easiest to try first.
Good luck with your breeding efforts and let us know how you go.

depends what you can get hold of thats good and healthy and reasonable. dwarf panaques (flash, clown, goldstripe etc) or hypans. but will need better water than BNs so if your tap water is hard you will need access to rain water or RO water too.

Thanks for the reply guys.
Theres no problems on the water front as i breed discus and rams so have ro on hand.
I'm new to the pleco breeding though and fancy a bit of a challenge, like L260 or L333s, would these breed readily enough or would it be a bit tricky?
