:welcome:, you have to make sure that you do not mix the same family groups together, then watch out for the diets of each Ls and then the water conditions. I would start off with what you like and can afford, then look these Ls up on our profile page and compare. Ls will interbreed indeed, so be careful. cheers jk :thumbup:

I mix all the time, just keep the genus apart. For example I have a Hypancistrus species, a Panaque species and a Peckoltia species all breeding in the same tank. I have been doing it this way for the last 10-12 years with no cross breeding. Just match fish from similar water parameters, I feed a mixed diet and it has not caused any issues to date.
