It is also very unlikely that breeders can actually sex their juvies at 3-5cm so its best if you buy say 5 or 6 and then you should at least score a pair. :)

I had banjo catfish once, they werent very exciting. All I used to see is the eyes sticking up out of the sand.

L260 great choice! Never enough to go around though and very expensive.

There were quite a few L066 fs recently. Did you try bigjohnnofish?

I have L066 juvies but they are flat out being 3cm atm. Couple of months should see them up to 4cm.

Thanks for the insight on banjo's, I saw a picture of a bi-colour banjo in a book while I was researching L numbers and I have to admit I have a soft spot for the unusual quiet types of fish so I think locating one of these to buy would be a highlight for me :)

I have made contact with Bigjohnno he has been very helpful, already made a great purchase and will happily buy from him again when he has something i'm after...

I would be interested in your 066 babies when they are ready' if you are going to sell them? I've had lots of offers for these but they have all been too big or overpriced!
What prices do 260's fetch?
