L046 Fry mystery

Hi Everyone I have fry from my Zebs I have counted 7 so far.
1 was in the tank and 6 were in the bogwood with dad over the last few days 5 have come out of the bogwood and into the tank. tonight there is only 2 in the tank!!!!!
I do know there is still 1 with dad but I cant find anymore.
The tank has fine gravel a 1 large piece of bogwood and 12 caves the filter inlet is to fine for them to get sucked out but I have just checked anyway but no sign.
There are only 4 adults and no other fish in the tank. Where dad is in the bogwood is about 3 inch off the bottom of the tank! would they have gone back to dad????
From reading other treads I understand the adults wont eat them so unless they are hiding very well im confused.com

I can't find any in one of my tanks either.
I even popped open the canister to make sure nothing got in there.
I find it doubtful I accidentally sucked them out during wc as those little guys can really suction down hard.
I didnt find any bodies either so my mystery continues.
Maybe they are just really really good at hiding?

I would check the filter and also look into the cave at night. I am sure with that colouring that they would be hard to find good luck cheers jk :thumbup:

or they have died and been cannibalised by brothers/sisters/parents...

Hi Guys and gals

I just sneaked up on them and put the light on!!!!!!

I counted 6 fry so I guess that no 7 is still there some where!

Sorry I panicked as these are stunning fish and I feel privileged they have chosen to breed for me.

Back on cloud 9
