L066 with other plecs

Hey all,

Wanting to know if anyone has had success with breeding L066 with any other fish species in the same tank? The tank I will be putting them in is 4x18x16

If possible I would divide the tank. I breed L066 easily within a 2ft divided section. What other fish are you looking to add as that makes a lot of difference too

I am hoping to breed other small plecos (L201, L134, Peppermint BN) or apistogrammas.

If the others are fry it may be ok if small in numbers but the pepps will definitely fight & the 134's can be agro. You don't want your fish too concerned about fighting & competing over caves to breed

Would it work if I had half of the tank as L066 breeding and the other half L201?

Yeah definitely. I've divided most of my tanks now and the majority of adult fish are breeding
