Lovely fish had over a year eats plenty and looks gorgeous, will be stunning when fully grown. Im selling all freshwater fish as moving into girlfiriends into new year and have only space for one tank which will be my reef.

Know it well. I used to work in the shop in the 1980's from the age of 13, when it was called Pisces. Andy took over in the mid 80's. learnt a lot from those experiences in New Ferry as a young kid.

Yes it was pretty small back then. The owner was a biker guy called Phil Jackson, who also owned a video store and model shop on the opposite side of the road. His Mom ran the fish shop, she was a German women called Crystal. She used to send me to the newsagents every saturday to get her 40 benson and hedges. I think Andy's brother used to work there as well.

After they sold up they moved to a garden centre near Chester but i lost touch after that and went to work at WaterWorld on the Chester High Road.

I finished my fish shop working career at another fish centre at Sycamore Park Garden Centre near Ellesmere Port, run by a mate who then went on to set up a Gorilla sanctuary in Cameroon! Those were the days when Zebra Plecs cost £50 retail.
