head and thick ray on pectorial fins makes me think its a male also...

look at it sideways and if its cheek odontode has one large wisp at top that is much bigger and appears to flick over its shoulder then its a male...

what size is it ???

It is about 7 inch (20 cm)

at that size one would expect the male to have bushy hair off its pectorial fins and definitely have a big cheek odontode....
maybe its a girl... if it is she needs fattening up...
