no i wouldnt but you would expect a left shoe and a right shoe with a pair of shoes..... :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::whistle::whistle::whistle:

therefore a pair is referred to as one of each sex
as trio is referred to 1 male and 2 females
a reverse trio is 2 males and 1 female

or you could say a pair of males or pair of females... but a pair on its own refers to a male and a female

But.... sorry bigjohnnofish you got it wrong .......

a pair means 2 fish
a sexed pair means male and female
a trio means 3 fish unless its stated its sex

regardless how you or anyone wants to see it - thats what it means .

plus the guy is selling - no one interested then no need for messages here, something else you want to know - then Pm him . easy.

but for future reference, on forums, a "pair" does usually refer to a sexed pair.
