Need some help. I have 2 really small L201.

I've had them for about 6 months but never seen them eat anything.

Every second day I put some fluval bug bites in because the breeder said that they don't eat veggies but doing some reading just now, people suggest giving zucchini regularly.

I think they are currently malnourished

Also do they need drift wood? Sorry I'm reading so many different things

Hi,

If they hadn't eaten for 6 months, they would be dead.

The veggies are a little different. Young animals are more likely to eat vegetables than older ones. If you put a piece of zucchini in the aquarium, you should be able to see if they have eaten it.

If you think they are malnourished, look at the belly of the animals. If the belly hasn't invaded, then everything is fine.

They only need wood for hiding.

Look also Hypancistrus sp. "L 201"
