I tend to say male but these fish are hard to sex correct sometimes. Females also develop odonthodes but not as much and thick as males.

If it was just a question of the hairy pectal fins I would let it pass and say female but that tail looks pretty hairy as well which is male. Do you have a side shot to see the side odontodes or an underneath vent shot?

agree with Jacqueline and Brengun. Too many hairs on tail and fins, but also not the classic male body shape. side shot and in focus vent shot would solve the prob. cheers jk :thumbup:

but was wondering if the experts would consider sexing my L201's also which are 6-7cm i think? =S

100% male, Hair, Nose shape and eye seperation ( distance between the eyes) is how i identified.
