Hey guys,

My first post on this site. Been keeping tropical fish for around 5 years now, but only recently become interested in plecs, although I have been keeping them for a while.

Just wanted to show off my latest arrival. This is my second L226, havent got any good photos of the first. This guy was introduced the tank today.

Probably the best photo I have of the first one, when he was introduced a few months ago.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks,

No breeding project planned, just really liked these plecs when i first saw them.

If they breed in the future, then great, but thats not what im aiming for.

At the moment, I have a mix up of fish in there, as im keeping someone elses fish for a while. Hopefully soon they will be leaving, and then I can get a south american feel going.

Nope, unfortunately the only fish that are mine in the tank are the plecs, some ottos, and some cories. Plan is to add one more L226 (If i can find another), more cories, some tetras and 6-8 angels eventually once the tank is mine again

Tank is 450 litres approx.

Also just managed to get some pictures of my baryancistrus, from another tank. Their not fantastic as hes quite shy.

Ive had him for a few years now, originally he was id'd as L081, dunno if anyone can confirm this now he's aged a bit? He's always had the marks on his stomach/side since i bought him.

Just also found an old picture of him, taken when i bought him, just to show hes grown a bit.

If you compare his size in relation to the cave then and now, hes definately grown.
