Hi All,

Okay i have 2 of these fish and cost me abit when small cause of how rare they are .

Now i know they are not 333 - i have had so much different patterns, and breed them for a long time and all 333 grew bigger, but know they are not that, incase anyone is going to say 333

They are not 129 - as i did have a pair which i recently sold and patterns were different and lines were finer, again incase anyone says 129

They are not 270 - i know that 100% breed them many years and know straight away, and once again incase anyone says 270

And not a 066 - completely different

These were brought as L318 but double checking, i do trust the guy i brought them off - they look 100% the same as the pictures on planetcatfish's L318

I brought them at 3.5cm and 3yrs later biggest one is 10cm head to end of tail, my 333's after 3yrs were about 14cm so .......

Are they L318's ? (Plus i think they are both females that i have)

One of my fish : (Sorry for the bad picture taken, that fish is 10cm head to end of tail and 3yrs+)

Looks like L318 or L316. I believe they are the same anyway. According to planetcatfish one is a lighter grey then the other and they are always found side by side. I have 4 L316, 2 males and 2 females and they have bred 3 times in the last 18 months. The lighter grey ones are the females, the darker ones the males, at least in my case. I am keeping some of the fry (now 18 months old) to see if that holds true when they grow up.

I dont think they are 316 as they are really flat looking and probably the most hairy hypan you will ever see.

Never seen a 318 so can't comment on that

Cheers
