Hello All,

Today 05NOV2010 , the attempt, I am trying the unusual so to speak of trying to breed the L333 in a community style tank. My view is that in a normal environment there is plenty happening, so hope to be successful.
My set up is
Tank 5 x 1 1/2 x 1 1/2
Tenants 5 x L333, 2 x L377, 15 rummy nose, 10 PenciL fish, Pair of Apisto Blackchin and 1 Otto.
Temp 28.5C, PH 6.5, Filters 1 x Eheim 2028 and 1 x Eheim Classic 2217 plus airstone.
The Tank

My initial L333 colony of 3, I believe 1F and 2 M, sizes 10-12cm

My newcomers L333 I hope 1F and 1M, size 7cm

and

and the whole gang L333 and L377

ok for those who say awhhh. the L377, size 4cmc

So this is the start. will keep you posted. any info or feedback would be greatly appreciated...cheers jk

Hi , a super tank.
I suspect the plecs are a bit young yet given the amount of stripes on them. I would also be wary of trying to breed with two so similar species, i would move the pecks into another smaller tank, but thats just my opinion.
maybe add a few corys to encourage breeding .
