Barry from my understanding you need an import permit to get fish and plants into WA, need to do some research on your local AQIS site.

No you don't need a permit for fish, just need to book Quarintine inspection, which is about $55 per 15 minutes (I believe). plants are another story tho! As I dont think they are aloud at all.

shipping fish to perth is no different for the sender - they are dropped off at the airport same as any other shipment to another state...
its only the receiver that has to book an inspection... no extra cost to the sender :thumbup:

Bit easier than Tassie then, they have to have an import permit I have shipped their numerous times just thought I'd mention as I knew WA had something to comply with.
