Hey guys and girls

I need your help planning some breeding tanks. I am thinking of starting with a L66 andL135 breeding tanks. I need to know what you guys think is the best tank size for a breeding group of both (in seperate tanks of course) also what size groups to start with, any breeders that you can recommend, water chemistry, water change schedual. . . And anything else you wonderful people can think of. . . O filtration as wel! (if anyone has a tissue for my brown nose id appreciate it)

Respect cole

tissues not needed for you . Now these are my personal views. You do not mention how many of each, but 4ft for L66 and 3ft for 135. External filters eheim etc turning over water 3-5times. Internal for each a small powerball or powerhead. Sand silica, caves etc. Water change 30% once a week. For stimulation, you can try 2-3 weeks no water change, then daily 20% for 5days with plenty of high protein food. thats my plan...cheers jk

lol i should just write you big book so you can refer to that.

lol well i like having long and low, as plecs dont really need the depth, i prefer using 24"x12"x12, out of personal O.C.D preference. But 24x15x12 is quite good aswell. make sure you have a nice water flow in the tanks as they like the current and the freshness.

Have you found a L66 or L135 breeding colony? you sure they the ones you want.
