LED Lighting

Hi folks
Mate of mine is considering purchasing AquaFX Marine LED Light System FX500 set for his tank.
Has anybody here got experience/knowledge of this piece of kit?

Hi

I have used LED in my work
The benefits are
Cheap to run i.e. very low load
Long Life
Most manufactures will offer 5 years warrantee
No heat
Low watts = low heat as watts is really a measurement of heat not light.

The manufactures have now got it right the disadvantage is that it is only effective as a down light like a spot in a kitchen or a bath room.
But as that is what most fish keepers will want then it is not a problem.
