looking for info what do you use to bind food?

im planning on making my own feed for my cats i got the veg list and il probably add nls cichlid formula & prawns for protein tho not to much il also be adding spirulina waffers aswell
the only thing i dont know is what do i add to bind it?
il be frizing it in lock seal bags

i dont want it do become a ice cube but i dont want to add something that is wrong "flour"

i have been told to use (agar agar) but i dont know where to find it or what it is called for i have no idea for i have never seen it ?

I have heard agar is the stuff to use, you need a health food shop

agar agar is seaweed based, and gelatin is made from bone marrow I believe. I've used gelatin, but have had issues with getting the gelatin to set right. I am thinking about trying the agar agar. Just a little apprehensive being it's unfamiliar to me since I've had setting issues with the gelatin, and a bit more expensive than gelatin.
