has you male been fighting ? or was in a very tight log ? Looks like a cyst or puss ball. When you see it what does it look like ? Also do not like the red markings at all of the finnage...cheers jk

No fighting and the cave is quite loose. Hold on will get a picture. The redness is at the base of the fins and the stomach

It does look like a puss ball or cyst. Or even like a stone trapped under the skin.
This is his cave, not tight at all.

thanks for the help

I've read about L200 having lumps and bumps, not sure what the cause was but read in a thread elsewhere about a possible cause and that it could be treated with furanase,

:link:

If anyone else has any suggestions about what it could be feel free to post

Not sure if its available in the uk, but I think it contains Furazolidone, so there may be something in uk that contains it or similar. Might be worth pming D-MAC, see if he can help.

The fact that there is only one lump could just mean its a cyst or something like that.

I had a look at this link...I don't think this is the same thing at all...Does the lump look like its under the skin? Lymphocystis is generally found to be more topical...This might be one for VickiandKev to have a look at, as I haven't seen this before.
